2018 New Features

Below are some of the major features added to the site for the 2018 season:

Managers

• Manager can set picksheet - Managers now can select which games they want on the pick sheet for their league.
• Branding improvements - Managers can now add html or text to the top and right side pages.
• Added Perfect 7 Pool - Each week the manager selects 7 NFL games and the only way to win is to correctly pick all 7 games.  If no entries correctly pick all 7, the prize pot rolls over to the next week and players have to re-enter again to try to win, similar to a state lottery. It is a week-by-week contest so players can come and go as they like and there is no season long commitment.
• Pickem Jackpot option - Managers can leverage the perfect 7 pool features and configure their league with a "jackpot" that builds each week using a % of player fees, that triggers when a player wins a configured number of games in a given week (e.g. 7 for a "Perfect 7" pickem league).

Players

Standings page improvements - The standings pages have been improved and streamlined for all league types. For pickem, confidence, and play money leagues, a Trend graph page has been added so that you can see how you compare against other players in your league.

This is actually doable the current way, though it would be more straightforward if there was an option to set weekly amount as you suggest. Using the current way you can put in a number that gets you close to what you want. 

For your league in its current state of 32 players, if you set that value to 9% then the pot will grow $18.63 each week. If you set it to 10% it will grow by $20.70/wk.

II am running a survivor pool and 'd like to have players be able to join up until Saturday midnight, although the 1st game is on Thursday 9/6. I don;t see an option or setting that lets me know when the league will be locked.

Yes, they can join up until your league deadline, which defaults to 11am MST Sunday. If someone tries to join after your league deadline, they can still join but will be put in 'Pending' state awaiting your approval. That way someone who joins after 11am MST or whateverf your deadline is can still pick games that haven't started yet, such as the late Sunday games or Monday nighters.
