Gator Bowl

Given what is goin on with the Gator Bowl I wan to eliminate the game from our league. Is there a way to make it worth zero point?

You could simply unselect it from your schedule. We'll also either update or remove the game completely from the master schedule.

The Gator Bowl is now back on the schedule with Rutgers now facing off against Wake Forest. You'll need to re-enable the game in the schedule if you are using 'Manager Set Schedule' option, and should then let your players know to re-pick that game. If they already picked Wake Forest they would not need to resubmit their picks.

Rather than repick I want the game simply eliminated, but we do all of our picks before the games start so I have the deadline set 1 hour before the first game, so when I go to "Set Schedule" I get this response:

Deadline is Past. If you want to set the schedule you need to set your deadline sometime past current time.

So how do I get around that?

Good question, short answer is that you shouldn't need to do anything . When a game is removed by the website it will no longer appear in league schedules. If the game is re-added, as just ocurred with the Gator bowl, it will be on the Set Schedule page but will be de-selected. If you were to temporarily set your deadline into the future and check you will see that it is de-selected. 

This raises a good question as to why league managers would be blocked from accessing the Set Schedule page if their deadline is past. Not sure why it was coded up this way so I'm going to disable that check in a code push later this evening.
