Everyone, I apologize for the slow server the last 24 hours or so. We figured out the problem for certain and have taken steps so that it won't happen again. I only have a handful of other low-traffic sites on my server, and one of these sites' blogs had 'comments' enabled and due to spam and time, eventually the database table got so big that it caused the server CPU to jump to 100% usage. That site will have comments disabled until a captcha can be installed to filter spam.

The site hasn't accepted my picks since I tried to change Sunday's games after Thurday's games.  I created a ticket this morning.  Hope you can get it fixed before kickoff.  Please help..

Mike, you should but a lottery ticket today because you uncovered a bug that has hidden itself for three years. You can also blame Jim Harbough, but no worries, I already called him a loser here (at end of clip).

Here is the problem. If you pick San Francisco, and only San Francisco as your tie-breaker, and then you try to edit your picks after the 49ers game has been played, then POW, this bug manifests. No one has done this in three years. This bug existed in Pickem, Bookie Pool, and Confidence leagues. So we are problably talking roughy 12,000 players making picks every week over those 3 years and never picking the 49ers as their TB when the 49ers played on Thursday, then trying to edit their picks after the Thursday game. Hence why you should buy a lottery ticket.

Fred...still can't enter my picks for Sunday game.  What am I doing wrong?  Can you enter them for me?  Almost kickoff.  Thanks!
