Hi Steve, Confidence pools don't have a setting to treat ties as wins. I'll try to fit something like that in tonight before the week fully processes. Fred

Posted Sep 10, 2018 at 9:25 AM IMO it SHOULD count as a loss...my understanding of survivor is that you pick a WINNING team...the Steelers did not win. |

Steve's pool is not a survivor league, its a confidence league. FYI, surivor leagues can be configured to treat ties as a loss (the default) or ties as a win. Fred

Posted Sep 10, 2018 at 10:08 AM I mean...the league is literally called "Survivor de Schmed 2018”
Should probably be renamed "Confidence de Schmed" then, no??
I read the rules, and I know one of them states that a tie can be a win or a loss...but if you want to be technical about it, one of the earlier rules also says that you have to make the correct pick. The Steelers didn't win and neither did the Browns...therefore anyone who selected either team would be incorrect.
In the end, the league settings are what they are...but I would never expect to win if I picked a game that ended in a tie. That's all I'm saying.

His league name isn't Survivor de Schmed 2018, its 'Bears Rule, Packers Drool'. :)

Hi Steve... I've added the option to the league settings page, and took liberty to set your league to award the weight value for ties. The values should be reflected after the week processes after the last game tonight. Fred
