Posted Jan 18, 2016 at 11:13 AM Hello, first of all thanks for this great website. We are using the NFL Playoff confidence pool with the 1-11 weight settings. Today one of the users told me he tried giving the 11 weight to a team on the next weekend early game and he was allowed to even though he already used that value weeks ago. Is this normal? Is he getting the points if he wins or he would be assigned 0 even if winning team was chosen? Thank you ! |

Hi Vic, You said "weeks ago", so was this before the post season? Note that the playoff confidence pool starts week 18, so any weight used before that doesn't matter. If this happened after week 18 for a pick used week 18 or later, can you let me know the name of the player? Thanks, Fred

Posted Jan 19, 2016 at 8:49 AM Hello Fred, I meant that the value was used on week 18, and then allowed to use it again on week 20. This case was with user Jose Aguilera. Right now I think he might have changed his picks but Francisco Sandoval and my user have repeated picks as of now (just considering playoffs, we actually didn't knew your website before week 18). Hi Vic, Well, it was a silly bug that's now fixed. The picks page showed the proper allowed values, but the submit had a bug in its verification. This is the first year for this kind of pool and unfortunately didn't get enough testing. A member here had requested this format for a league he runs a couple weeks before the playoffs and I was able to squeeze it in, with consequences. :) Sorry for the inconvenience! Fred
