standings no longer accurate after switching to 2 picks per week?

I updated your standings, please double-check. I have the failed standings data loaded on my test site and will have an actual root cause fix before next week's games. Fortunately (for me) yours was the only league affected. Only three leagues have enabled the feature so far, and the other leagues weren't hit with the problem. Sorry for the hassle!

Thanks for the fast mitigation work, standings look correct now.

As I mentioned in the previous post, I switched the league settings from 1 pick per week to 2picks per week on Tuesday Nov 28th, maybe that had something to do with the sorting issue?

I think what's more likely is the change that went in this year to "real-time" update the Standings as games occur (it used to only happen after the Monday night game) - the ole wackamo affect of adding a feature and breaking something else. The two-pick code is mostly isolated to the function that determines if the pick was correct for the week. If two picks are enabled, the routine looks at the 2nd pick in the player's database entry. My guess right now is that someone hit the standings page inbetween the outcome of the two games, which now triggers the processing that includes the call to check the pick result, and that routine reported it as a loss isntead of an incomplete status. Last year both games would have been played before the processing occurred.

Hi Gayle... Yours is a pickem league so is a separate issue (this thread refers to a survivor league that requires two picks entered per week, a seldom-used setting).  The problem is that you do have auto-picks enabled. If this is not what you want you should go in to your league settings and turn that off. In the meantime, if you want to remove the auto-picks, you would have to use the 'Edit Standings' page in your control panel.

Are you also sure you want a Thursday deadline? Most leagues set their hard deadline to Sunday at 11am MST in the regular season.
