Posted Sep 30, 2014 at 2:22 PM Set auto pick for (1). I assume that means for one week. What if person doesn't do Thursday's game, auto pick gives them away team (which I setup) and they pick the rest of the week. Are they finished with auto pick then? |

That is correct, any autopick that occurs in a given week counts as if the whole week were autopicked. Fred

Great question. Currently autopick doesn't also generate a key game selection. It's on our list of things to add but I can't say for certain when it will be ready. Fred

Posted Oct 01, 2014 at 8:40 AM No problem. Now for my wish list for next year. Would be great if there was a setting for "key games" where say you choose (4) games and instead of getting (1) extra point per win you would choose in descending order 4,3,2,1 for the games. I've created an office/family pool and it's great but we've gone to tiebreakers each week and trying to lessen the chances for this occuring. This would be an awesome addition to your site. thanks for all the help. |

Hi Jim... Basically what you are suggesting is similar to our Confidence pool where you rank teams from 1 to 16, but in your case you would rank just four games and pick the rest for 1 point. Your suggestion to be honest is probably unlikely as it is too much a one-off that I'm not sure many other leagues would use. Have you considered a confidence pool? Its pretty straightforward, and is described here. Fred

Posted Oct 02, 2014 at 6:58 AM The Confidence pool would definitly minimize the tiebreaker scenario. I don't think I have enough NFL saavy people to pull it off though. Anyway it's great that you run this and I appreciate all your help. |
