 Hello,

I am just curious if the spreads are updated throughout the week? or if they are only updated once per week? Hoping to get them updated throughout the week and being able to lock in on certain spreads. Thanks,

They are usually posted sometime Tuesday, and should be updated during the week if a line moves by a point or more. Note that by Wednesday pro lines are typically pretty close to what they will be by game time.

That is great! My only question with it does your pick move with the line? Say broncos vs patriots.. Line opens Tuesday with patriots favored by 3, and I think that's a good line so I lock my bet on Denver +3.. But then Brady gets hurt so the lines flip! Goes Denver -3.. Does my bet that I already locked in for stay Denver +3? Or does it then move to the Denver -3 now with the news on Brady? Does that make sense? Thanks,

Great question. The line when the pick is made is the line assigned and saved with that pick, so in your example the line stays +3.

There is one caveat to keep in mind. Say you picked NE and Brady gets hurt. Depending on how your league is configured, you could go in and change your pick if 1) the game hasn't started, 2) your league deadline hasn't been reached, and 3) the pick grace period hasn't expired.  If you want a player to be stuck with the pick he first makes, then set the pick grace period to 0 hours. Or maybe 1 hour. The default pick grace period is 255 hours since most league managers want their players to be able to edit their picks up to the league deadline (and before the game starts). So in summary, a pick is greyed out and you can't make or edit the pick if any of the following is true: 1) league deadline has past, 2) game started, 3) pick grace period expired.
