It's a proprietary algorithm. 
That needs some serious work.  For pickem leagues its fairly straightforward - who was the most off on their pick, when compared to the point spread for the game. Unfortunately it will pick the first person alphabetically if there is a tie. Need to probably make that a little more random, or use the tie-breaker game. Fred
