Pick Dead Line

Once the game starts does it lock from people being able to pick that game? The reason I ask is because my league dead line is set at Sunday at 11am. Do I need to change this to Thursday if there is a Thursday game? I dont want them picking the Thursday game on Sunday haha.

And if I make the deadline on Thursday does that mean they cannot change their picks for the sunday games?

I think the best approach is the have the deadline 5 minutes before kick off but not sure what I need to set it at in the settings to make sure that is the case.

Once a game starts it is greyed out and not pickable. Once your deadline is reached no games can be picked. The Sunday 11am MST is a good default, but for my own personal survivor leagues I set it to Sunday 12pm MST, which allows players to still pick the afternoon or Sunday/Monday night games.
