Hi David... At this point you should reset his password for him. Here is the login help page, and the pertinent section for managers:
MANAGERS
If one of your players is having trouble logging in, it is always a user problem. You can look up their username on the Edit Player Profile page found in your manager's full control panel. From this page you can also change their username, email and/or password.
