Password Autofill

Fred,

This year at the login screen several of our players, incuding myself, have been having trouble with our username and password not auto-populating with the autofill feature of our web browser. It has always worked in the past. The browser doesn't seem to recognize the username and password lines on the login page. Consequently we have to enter it in manually every time, which can be a hassle. Is this something that you can look into? Maybe something in your template isn't compatible with Safari?

Hi Capsfan,

This type of functionality is provided by the browser. It could very well be that there is something on the new login (e.g. the placeholder values) that Safari doesn't like,but our login presentation is quite common and it would be on Safari to fix. Is there a later version of Safari you could try? Also, what might help is that we had oure security cookies set to expire after 12 hours. We've changed that to 7 days, which means as long as you make picks every week (and the browser behaves) you shouldn't have to login.

Changing the cookies timeframe is helpful. I didn't have to re-login today. 

I found that there are two login screens. The page/screen that shows the login section in the upper right seems to work fine with autofill. However the login on what must be your main page doesn't. Anyway, I think it'll be better now that you made the change with the cookies. I also updated my bookmark to navigate to the login that works for me. Thanks!
