NFL Pick 2 Pool Rules
In an NFL Pick 2 Pool, players select two NFL teams during each active week and earn one point for each winning selection. Players are not eliminated after an incorrect pick.
- Each player selects two NFL teams during each active week.
- Each winning team selection earns one point.
- A losing selection earns zero points.
- If an NFL game ends in a tie, a selection from that game earns zero points.
- Players are not eliminated after selecting a losing team. Points accumulate throughout the regular season.
- Each NFL team may normally be selected only once during the season. The league manager may configure the Pick Limit per Team to allow a team to be selected more than once.
- A player may not select the identical team twice during the same week.
- Players are allowed to select both teams playing against each other in the same game. Since one team may win and the other may lose, this strategy will normally produce one point unless the game ends in a tie.
- Each player must declare the number of BYE weeks required by the league settings. The standard Pick 2 format requires two BYE weeks during the 18-week NFL regular season.
- A declared BYE replaces both team selections for that week. A player does not receive or lose any points during a BYE week.
- A player may not declare more BYE weeks than the number configured by the league manager.
- Picks or a BYE declaration must be submitted by the deadline established by the league manager.
- Before a selected game begins, a player may change that team selection subject to the league deadline and configured grace period.
- Once a selected team's game begins, that selection is locked and cannot be removed or changed.
- Once games for the week have begun, a player cannot replace submitted selections with a BYE.
- A weekly submission is considered complete only when the player has selected exactly two teams or has explicitly declared a BYE.
Ties in the Standings
Standings are determined by total points, which equal the player's total number of winning selections. Players finishing with the same number of points remain tied unless the league manager has announced an additional league-specific tie-breaker.
Manager Access to Hidden Picks
League managers may use the standings page to view selections before they would normally be revealed. When a manager uses this option, the action is recorded in the Manager Activity Log for league members to review.
