In the early 90s, our founder Fred Williams teamed up with fellow engineers to manage a Play Money pool — a format that still thrives today. That spirit of innovation led to the launch of our first full-featured website in 2012. Since then, OfficePoolStop has rapidly expanded, hosting thousands of leagues and millions of submissions across multiple pool types.

We are a small family operation of three software developers — father, son, and daughter — supported by several admins who help manage our forum and Help Desk. We bring decades of coding experience to the table, along with just as much time spent running football pools. The original site was built and maintained by Fred Williams and his family, and it laid the foundation for the robust platform we continue to grow today.

Now, in 2025, a new era of OfficePoolStop has begun — led by Fred and his daughter, Abby. We've boosted the site from the ground up with a brand-new interface, a cleaner user experience, and massive potential to support even more features than before. Built using Blazor Server on ASP.NET and backed by a secure PostgreSQL database, our new app is ready to expand.

While the original focus was football and March Madness, this new platform has room to grow beyond the traditional — welcoming sports fans of all types.
